I am interested in how evolution can modify ecological interactions and potentially facilitate coexistence among ecologically similar species.

I am interested in studying the consequences of placentation in livebearing fishes. I use artificial insemination to investigate the potential for intergenomic conflict and reproductive isolation in placental and non-placental Poeciliid species pairs in Florida and Mexico.
